MANTOSTAAN is a dull parody dependent on four consuming and the most questionable short stories (Khol DO, Thanda Ghosht, Assignment and Aakhri Salute) of Legendary Urdu author Saadat Hassan Manto. Stories are set in 1947 India-Pakistan parcel time putting a focus on the most cruel side of people. Manto’s Characters take you to an exceptionally dim ironical existence where his characters get your breath by depicting murkiness yet honesty, abrasive yet hilarious at parts.
